Moral Responsibility Podcast Series

Welcome to this episode of the Your Story is Our Story Podcast. This week, we’re kicking off a three-part series where we’ll be having a fascinating conversation with three parents in New York City who are fighting for change in one of the nation’s most segregated public school systems  in one of the most diverse cities in the country

Our theme – Moral Responsibility – goes to the heart of how we as parents cannot sit idly by and let educational systems in NY as well as other cities around the country relinquish their moral responsibility to make sure our children get equal access to a quality education. We’re also at a time when the nation is fighting against critical theory.

During our conversations, we will discuss how these three women, Camille Casaretti, Naomi Pena, Shino Tanikawa, have become true forces for change in their communities.

In Part II of Our Youth Matter, we’re featuring a conversation with two students – Jasper Anthony and Sunay Chawla – and their mentors – Camille Casaretti and Shino Tanikawa [TA-NEEK-KAWA] to discuss how race, culture, diversity and equality have impacted their lives in school and life.
