Neurologist and Pioneer in Biology Charles Henry Turner Broke Barriers

Charles Henry Turner was a neurologist and a pioneer in the field of biology.
He served as professor of Biology at Clark Atlanta University in Atlanta from 1892 to 1905, and in his later years was a teacher at the Sumner High School in St. Louis.
He made numerous contributions to scientific periodicals, these having to do largely with the life of bees and ants.
Charles Henry Turner discovered that insects changed their behavior based on experience.
